Reviews and Ratings
I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and nicely maintained, exactly as shown in the pictures. On the downside, the noise from the lift and stairwell was quite bothersome. However, the large bed in the standard room was a definite plus.
The staff is awesome, very friendly, funny, and helpful, although they had trouble keeping up with the crowds. The location is excellent, in the center of all the tourist spots and very near the best Pho restaurant in Hanoi. The dining experience was lovely, with typical Vietnamese cuisine on offer, but could have more variety. The facilities are top-notch, providing a great stay overall.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were large and comfortable, with an extremely comfortable mattress. The cleanliness and size of the bed in the standard room exceeded my expectations. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the Old Quarter, making it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and tourist spots. The service was a mix; while some staff members were efficient and detail-oriented, others were not very attentive, especially when we needed assistance. The dining experience was good with a nice variety, but could have offered more choices. Overall, a great value for the money.
The hotel is situated in the heart of the Old Quarter, making it convenient to explore the nearby shops and restaurants. The rooms, while a bit dated, were comfortable, and the staff was warm and very helpful. The dining options were varied, with a nice selection of local dishes. However, the service was not very attentive, and some areas could use a bit of a refresh.
The hotel offers comfortable and reasonably priced rooms. The room was spacious and very quiet, but its location next to the lift and stairwell made it noisy at times. The window provided a typical view seen in most hotels of this kind.
I felt a bit confined in the room due to the tiny window looking out to a light shaft, but the comfort level was there for the price. The soundproofing could have been better. The service was exceptional overall, although there were a couple of instances where they could have been more helpful. The location in Hanoi's Old Quarter was excellent, making it easy to explore the area. The dining options were good but could have had more variety. The facilities were satisfactory, but improvements could be made.
However, the rooms had dirty sheets, threadbare towels, and stained walls. The small window overlooked a wall, which was a downside.
The hotel is centrally located in the heart of the Old Quarter, offering a peaceful stay with easy access to nearby attractions and the famous Pho restaurant in Hanoi. The rooms, although somewhat dated, are spacious and functional, perfect for a quick shower and change before catching the night train to Sapa. The service is extremely helpful, with friendly staff who go above and beyond to assist guests. The dining experience is decent, offering a variety that changes daily. The facilities are adequate for a comfortable stay, though the busy area can be overwhelming at times.
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the Old Quarter, surrounded by shops and restaurants. The rooms, although a bit dark and with some maintenance issues like mold and water leakage, provided a place to rest upon arrival. The service was exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff willing to assist with various requests. The buffet dining, offering both Western and local dishes, was satisfying but only available to in-house guests. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement in room maintenance.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean, big, and comfortable, but the noise from the lift and stairwell was quite disturbing at times. The service was a bit hit or miss; while the staff were friendly and helpful most of the time, there were a couple of instances where they fell short. The location was excellent, centrally located and close to many tourist attractions, but the busy surroundings could be overwhelming. The dining options were good with a variety of Vietnamese dishes, but more choices would have been appreciated. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
